About Us
Now and then something completely new comes along that reshapes the way a word is used in common vocabulary. When we typically use the word "Church" we almost always think of the images of "What’s happening in here" or we think of "What Programs do they have?" or perhaps, "Does this Church meet my needs?…"
With the launching of Coastland on the eastside of Tampa we are going to redefine the meaning of "Church" in a way that resembles the way Jesus did things. We think of the inescapable last words of Jesus to his followers: “Go and do as I have shown you.” Those words were not just for those early followers, but for all of us. We take this call seriously and passionately live it out with each person we encounter in life, not as a program, but as a practical lifestyle.
It’s an exciting, life-giving way to live. None of us would exchange it for any other approach to life. Join us in the adventure of a lifetime! Join us as we live out what Jesus had in mind when he launched his followers to change the world. Join us as we demonstrate the Jesus kind of life in daily practical expressions of kindness and love.
